Pulla & Friends is an artisanal online bakery bringing authentic, hand-crafted Nordic pastries straight to Chicago doors. Our storefront showcases the opening lineup — the Sweet Six — a collection of Finnish classics like Korvapuusti (the cinnamon cardamom bun), Mokkapala, and cardamom-scented bakes, each one made in small batches and delivered fresh every Saturday across Chicago.

The shop is built for Chicago neighbors who crave the soft, cardamom-spiced comfort of real Finnish pulla — whether you grew up with it at your grandmother's coffee table or you're discovering it for the very first time. Every product page pairs the English and Finnish names, along with a little Finnish fact, so each bake arrives with its story.

Behind the bakery are Katja and Sampo, the two founders who moved their Finnish baking tradition to Chicago and bake every batch by hand from recipes learned back home. The site itself is built and run by the same two of us — the bakers — so what you read here comes straight from the oven, not a marketing desk.
